www.joicks.com started simply as a platform to share photos of artwork that I saw on the streets, in galleries und museums throughout my journeys that I thought looked great or/and interesting. I often feel a disconnection between what I see in museums and what I am seeing in really cool artists who are about to emerge and produce great artwork, but struggle to survive.
The main idea of this website is to share the interest in art. I publish artists I feel inspired by, artists who just started their journey, sights and inspirational input I discover from time to time by coincidence on the streets, in magazines, galleries or most precious in connection with people like you.
